Global Youth Ambassador for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

I’m a Global Youth Ambassador for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation—a cohort of teens from six continents who collaborate to create and discuss global-scale change. Our focus centers on advancing the 17 global UN Sustainable Development Goals. I helped plan and coordinate the Teen Action Fair at the Gates Foundation headquarters, where I got to connect in-person with so many like-minded young leaders.

I serve as the Vice President of the Gratitude Generation Teen Board, a local nonprofit!

Various service projects included a clothing drive which helped supply over 200 articles of clothing for refugee families, an MLK day event with over 200 participants, an educational event regarding sustainable energy with expert speakers, meal and toiletry packing,  blanket and stuffed animal making, etc.
